Adding & Managing Job Board Posts
The process for adding Job Board Post is the same whether the user is an internal or external account or has permissions as a Manager, Publisher, or Editor. Only Managers or Publishers will be able to publish the Job Board Post. Other users will see a Ready for Approval button instead of a Publish button.
Adding a New Job Post
- Select the + Job Post in the upper right corner.
Enter the Job Title/Name in the field and select Next.
- In the job post form:
- navigate by selecting/clicking on the section/tab name.
- use the arrows at the bottom right to go to the next or previous section.
- use the Save Draft button in the upper right, to save the entry. The form will remain open when saved.
- use the Cancel to exit the form. If Cancel is clicked prior to being saved, any changes will be undone.
- use the Ready for Approval button to mark the Job as ready and send notices to Job Board Managers, if applicable.

- Post Date/Time – date and time the post should go live.
- Application Deadline Date/Time – when applications are due (the post will also be removed).

Editors can be notified via email 1-3 days in advance of when a post will be removed to provide an opportunity to adjust the application deadline as-needed. Web Administrators can activate and configure deadline emails settings.
Details Section
- Wage – (optional) enter pay range if applicable
- Hours – (optional) enter expected hours for this job
- Company Information – (optional) – information about the company and benefits
- Description – (required) Provide description about the Job Post
- Requirements – (optional) Provide details of requirements for job applicants
- How to Apply – (required) Provide instructions on how to apply such as email, a link to online application, or address to mail application.
Classifications Section
Potential employees will use the classifications to search for jobs that they are interested in and are qualified. Check all classifications that apply. Multiple classifications can be selected in each category.
Job Attachment Section
File attachments such as a job application or a full job description document may be uploaded in the attachment area. It is recommended that the file be in PDF format.

Submit for Approval
- Once the information for the Job Post is completed, select the Save Draft button to save the post in the system.
- Selecting the Ready for Approval button to submit the Job Post for approval.

The post can be saved at any time and returned to for editing prior to submitting for approval. If the post has been saved, clicking the Cancel button will return the user to the Job Post list page.
Managing Job Posts
Editing a Job Post
Once a job post is created the job post can be accessed from the List of Job Posts. Click on the Job Post name to Edit.
Published Job Post
- If the job post is already published, only the Application Deadline Date/Time can be updated by non-manager accounts.
- If other information needs to be adjusted, the post can be edited and sent Back to Draft. This will unpublish the job post and will allow other information fields to be edited.

- After making changes, select the Ready for Approval button. A Job Board Manager will need to review the changes and republish the post.
Delete Job Post
From the Job Post list, click the gear and select Delete. This will permanently delete the job post.

Alternatively, to avoid permanently deleting a job post, it can be edited and sent back to draft, or have the the Application Deadline Date/Time adjusted.
Publishing Job Posts

Only Job Board Managers and Publishers can publish a Job Post. Once a post has been marked Ready for Approval it can be published and ready to publish emails will be sent to Managers/Publishers if the function has been activated. Web administrators can activate Ready to Publish emails in the configuration>job board settings area.
Job Posts can be published several ways:
- Edit the Job Post and click the Publish button.
- If the publisher received a Ready to Publish email, click the Login to View/Publish JobBoard link. This will navigate directly to the Job Post's edit view where the Publish button can be selected.
- Select the checkbox next to the Job Post in the Job Post list page and click the Go button next to Approve for Publication
