Showing Stories on Your Website

Showing Stories on Your Website

Story Display Options

There are two primary options for showing stories on your website:

  1. Story List block – this shows a list of stories based on tag selections and you can Pin some stories to the top. This is used when you want to show recent stories specific to a building or topic and the user can than view the entire story by selecting a story to read.
  2. Story Search block – this shows a searchable list of stories. Users can search by tags, text, and date.  This is used to allow the user to find stories of interest from a large archive.  You do have control on what stories are available in the search as you can configure to not show certain stories based on tags.

The Story Block shows 1 and only 1 story and is used in conjunction with the Story List and/or Story Search block.
